A clear route into the game
Crimson Desert Guide organizes the questions players ask before and during a session: what to learn first, how to approach a fight, which platform settings matter, and where an update or mod actually comes from.
The site is independent and deliberately version-aware. When a detail cannot be verified from an official announcement, a store page, or a clearly identified community source, it is labelled as unconfirmed rather than written as fact.
- Beginner path with decisions in the order they matter
- Combat and exploration notes that explain why a step works
- PC, PS5 and mod guidance with source and compatibility context
What we track
The first release focuses on durable information architecture rather than empty databases. Updates, guides, platform pages and a safe mod index form the core; entity pages for bosses, weapons and quests will only be added when the underlying game data can be maintained honestly.
Each page carries a review date and links to the relevant official or external source. That makes it easier to distinguish a confirmed change from a useful player observation.
- Update notes: date, source, affected systems and player impact
- Mods: external links only, with install, rollback and compatibility checks
- Guides: prerequisites, steps, failure points and a short checklist
Start with one useful answer
New players should begin with the beginner guide, then use the combat basics page when the first difficult encounter exposes a gap. PC and PS5 pages are separated because the practical setup questions are different even when the underlying game is the same.
This is a living reference. Pages are revised when official information changes, not simply to add a new date to an old paragraph.
- Beginner guide: a first-session route and preparation checklist
- Combat basics: spacing, observation, commitment and recovery
- Updates hub: how to read a patch note without missing the practical consequence
